Teachers of young English learners don't need another blank canvas or another chatbot that invents content. They have excellent coursebooks. What they lack is time, and a way to turn those pages into clear listening practice every student can use — including the ones without reliable internet. Languages Lab closes that gap.
Why we built it

Respect the coursebook
The curriculum, the exam alignment, the careful sequencing — it's all already there. Our job is to amplify it faithfully, not replace it with generated approximations.
Sound is pedagogy
For a young learner, hearing a word correctly — every phoneme, at the right pace — is the lesson. Smooth, natural TTS is optimised for adults skimming; children need clarity.
Reach every student
Millions of classrooms have shaky connectivity. Practice that only works in the cloud excludes exactly the students who need it most. Ours works from a flash drive.
The market gap
We searched hard for a tool that does this end-to-end — take a real coursebook, classify it, drill it in phonics-correct audio, and deliver it offline. We couldn't find one. The market splits into content generators, pronunciation scorers, and raw voice engines. Nobody had joined them up for schools. So we did.
